Nanotechnology as a Treatment for Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a painful chronic condition, in which uterine tissue grows outside the uterus causing extreme pain, heavy periods, infertility, and other complications. Despite one in ten women suffering from endometriosis, the diagnosis rate remains low and treatment options are limited.
